Our Thrifted Nest

I still can’t believe I almost put back that lamp. It was worth every penny and then some! The DeSoto Habitat ReStore is always first stop whenever I’m in Arcadia. 💚

You heard me right; 38 million lbs! And that’s just from right here in southwest Florida! I cannot wait to shop this new location, it is massive. Thank you so much Goodwill Southwest Florida for the sneak peek, and congratulations on the grand opening today! ♻️ 🛒 💙

And to make matters worse, when editing this video I realized I’m missing an earring. So not only did I lose out on my wish list thrift find, but I also lost one of my favorite pairs of earrings. 😭

Thank you so much, Goodwill Manasota, for inviting me to your Lunch & Learn! 💙 I loved getting to learn more about your mission, the people you serve, and the impact Goodwill has right here in our community. I already loved thrifting at Goodwill, but I have a feeling my next thrift haul is going to mean a little more now.

If you’re planning on visiting the new Goodwill Manasota Bargain Barn, here are some of my best tips! The “bins” are definitely a unique experience, and it’s my favorite way to thrift, but it can be overwhelming for newbies. I’ll never forget my first visit to the bins, so I always try to help the newcomers.

Special thanks to the awesome team at Goodwill for allowing me to come and film. Be on the lookout for more videos soon! 💙

If only I had an extra $150 to spare! My husband’s home office is golf themed, and I think that cabinet would have been a hilarious addition to his space. 😂

My first thrift flip from something I found at the newest Goodwill bins location! I am such a sucker for faux plants, but this one needed a major upgrade. Nothing a little spray paint can’t fix. 🙌🏻

A table for $5?! Done! I needed one for own of my artificial plants and have been having the hardest time finding something small for a decent price. I’d like to find one with a little more character, but this one works for now!
