We have some of the most talented equine marketing professionals in the country! Meet our CEO & Co-Owner, Kaitlin Christopherson Lively. π
π Location: Houston, TX
π Education: BA in English Literature, Minors in Mass Communications & French from Loyola University New Orleans
π First memory with a horse: This is tough! I have a photo of my mom holding me on a pony at the fair, around 3 months old. I feel I've always had subconscious thoughts of horses running through fields and felt a connection to horses since I was born, even though my family wasn't horsey.
π΄ Favorite horse show: My favorite horse show is the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show at Great Southwest Equestrian Center. Growing up, I did 4-H shows when I was very young here, and now, being back in the same facility in a new discipline is a bit surreal, full circle. My goal was always to grow up and show horses! There's a lot of nostalgia. Plus, Pin Oak is amazing. It's like a holiday season. It has such a festive energy, it's an old-school hunter/jumper show, it's our largest show of the year, and the competition is fierce.
π‘ Favorite source of marketing inspiration: the world around me! I always have my eyes and ears open, waiting for an idea to spark. 𧨠Also, podcasts, talks on the phone with my team, and I do a lot of internal brainstorming while I drive. Living in downtown Houston and having horses outside of the city means I spend a lot of time driving, so I spend a lot of time mulling over ideas, reflecting, and making voice notes.
π€ Favorite part of being on : So many things. First and foremost, being able to work alongside such talented women who are as passionate as I am. Every day I wake up and am so grateful for what I get to do and who I get to work with. I love thinking about horses and marketing constantly! Secondly, being able to grow personally and professionally along with the company. I began in 2017 as the first full-time employee and, through years of hard work and a growth mindset, have played a key role in developing it into the agency it is today.
