[09/14] 357pm MON•Current radar loop-

The next round of showers are moving into St. Cloud and the surrounding areas. Some occasional rumbles of thunder will also be likely. This will be mainly light to brief moderate rainfall rates with the heaviest rainfall staying over southern/southeastern Minnesota.

We should see this widespread area of rainfall begin to break up and become isolated as we lose the low level jet that has been supporting/providing the energy for these widespread areas of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day today.

Clearing will be west to east this evening.

Again, no severe weather is expected today in central Minnesota.

Tonight, we will see temperatures drop off quickly due to low dew points, light winds and clear skies. Frost will be possible over the iron range/arrowhead of Minnesota and over northern Wisconsin. Frost advisories have been issued for these areas from late tonight through Monday morning. Low temperatures will be around 35°F with some isolated areas falling to near 32°F.

For central Minnesota, we will see our temperatures fall into the mid 40s...No frost will occur but it'll definitely be a cool night!!
