Guys, I'm finally going fishing again tomorrow! I know I've been silent for a bit, but we had some major family emergency stuff going on! We totally dodged a major bullet and everything is going to be fine! I just really appreciate everybody's patience and those of you who reached out to check on us! It's been a long time coming, but this weekend i will be ordering the last part I need to safely drive The Great Gonzo (my old truck) again! It needs a new steering gearbox, so I'll be taking on that project. It couldn't possibly be harder than the ball joints and control arms, right? Right?! RIGHT???

I got into a NICE school of whiting on Tybee the other day on the last morning of the super hot temperatures! These were the best keepers I've found on main beach in a few weeks. I know some other folks said they caught a couple of pomps, but I have no idea what they were throwing! I was using big fat shrimp from Publix and some Fishbites! Here's how my morning went...

This was a decent morning of fishing on the back beach of Tybee. Anywhere you can find cooler water you should be able to find fish. This new weather pattern will probably change all of that again though.
