✨Perfectionisim

The perfect reason to quit. The easiest excuse to exit. My favorite fallacy to defensively fail before starting. *que “I suck” tantrum*

STORY TIME 📚 The pottery instructor divided the class into two groups. ‘Create the most pots.’ he said to one side, ‘create the perfect pots’, he said to the other side.

Who do you think created the perfect pot? The side focused on achieving the completion of lots of pots. They learned by focusing on the experience and as a result the pots improved.

🪴Focus achievement = high achiever

🤨Focus on the imperfections = perfectionist.

My sweet heart told me this pottery tale. I consider it often. Ive built a beautiful holographic wall to keep out the fear of rejection and criticism. I’m perfect I promise. 🙏Found fallacy: EVERYTHING needing to be for “EVERYONE” REMOVES the UNIQUE CONSIDERATION FOR THE INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCING ENJOYMENT. “They don’t like it”, does not mean “It sucks, you suck, bury your head in shame while I break your crayons”🖍️

Dear public,

I haven’t put out new music, made new post, or said much of anything because I can be quickly become sensitive and defensive, leading to “I failed, I’m quitting, *self flagellation* ”

I’m hoarding all of my art till it’s “good enough” - TRANSLATION - everyone is doing better than me so I’ll release this song / photo/ *thing*, when it looses personal value and I’ll have nothing to loose.

I hoard photos till my weight changes, music till I forget what I wrote, and my opinion till I’m resentful. 🫠 Relatable anyone?

Still trying to figure this out. I have a tough time with making friend request. I’m allowed with some profiles and other not so much.

To be honest it boils down to patience. I have not used this application in 6 years and it’s vastly different.

I love having it to connect with the public. I request your mercy and understanding when it comes to replies. Give me about a year or so and I’ll be able navigate Facebook somewhat as well as Instagram hopefully.

Rain or shine, this festival is going down this weekend and I am excited for the line up! This is such a special festival, and the decision to move the festival indoors makes will make such an intimate and magical setting! I know the acoustics of this old wooden building are going to really make everyone shine!

Help! 😨I’m not enjoying face book. I’ll be honest, I avoid it even though I made a new one. I just repost from my insta most of the time. Of all the platforms, this one is this most complex and underdeveloped.

The issue I’m having, most people are tring to use my personal page and I don’t use, and do not want to use a personal page. But this business account seems limited. Why am I not being found? I’m unable to interact with others it seems.

Anyone have some advice? Any hardcore Facebook users out there willing to talk me through this frustrating triggering experience with me?

And just like that! I have already made the switch from CD Baby to DistroKid. This new release has been an educational nightmare!

My disappointment with CD Baby has been overwhelming unlike my experiences with CD Baby in 2017. I think that was the last time they had an update lol! Even the founder moved from CD baby to DistroKid!

If you have used cd baby, I HONESTLY want to hear what you think!! CAUSE I HAVE A LOT TO SAY! DistroKid , CD Baby?
