JFS Receives $90,000 Funding Boost from Assemblymember Gabriella Romero
Earlier this week, Assemblymember Gabriella Romero presented JFS with a $90,000 grant to expand the impact of the Albany Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NNORC) — a program of JFS that is heading into its 20th anniversary year of supporting older adults. Nearly two-thirds of the older Jewish adults we serve are struggling to maintain stability on fixed or declining incomes. As more Jewish older adults face poverty, isolation, and complicated health challenges, many turn to JFS for coordinated advocacy, support, and compassionate guidance. We are committed to helping them age with dignity, stability, and connection.
