Study Abroad in Ireland - May 2015
Learn and see the world (at least part of it!) with the opportunity explore Ireland’s rich history, culture, religion and society through classroom learning and first-hand experience! Check out skateboarding demos, street art and more at the inaugural Allentown ArtsFest this weekend at Cedar Beach in Allentown.
Hosted by Allentown's Alternative Gallery, the free event features more than 100 artists, organizations and small businesses, including 30 food vendors and six local breweries. Highlights include breakdancing battles, graffiti artists, sculpture demos, standup comedians, kids activities and about two dozen bands and musicians.
Hours are noon-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Info: allentownartsfest.com.

There will be a guest lecture for Kevin Soffera Thursday from 9:30-10:45am at Lehigh Carbon Community College's main campus in room TC 205. Kevin Soffera is a talented drum tracker and creates the drum beats for any aspiring artist's musical piece. This is a great opportunity to ask Mr. Soffera about music and the industry and will expose you to his experience working with the music industry.
