One of Phoenix’s most unique drinking & dining destinations, with completely different vibes between the upstairs cantina, food truck patio, and the speakeasy-style basement bar. It’s a spot where you could spend the whole night exploring - and trust me, you’ll want to.

Here’s what I tried 👇

Cantina (Upstairs)
🍊 Las Nalgas Alegres - gin, rum, red wine, lemon, and orange crush - bright, boozy, and super smooth.
🌵 Basura - vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triple sec, lime, grapefruit soda, and prickly pear - chaos in the best possible way.

Food Truck Patio
🥑 Chips & Guacamole - fresh, creamy, and made in-house daily.
🌶️ Chips & Salsas - red + green salsa - both loaded with flavor.
🍟 Loaded Fries - crispy fries stacked with your choice of protein, pico, and melted cheese.
🌮 Tacos - Carne asada, pollo asado, carnitas, or shrimp - all hits.

Basement Bar (Cocktail Lounge)
🍍 Ponche 3.0 - blanco tequila, hibiscus, pomegranate, pineapple & lime - bright and refreshing with house carbonation.
🌿 Rosemary’s Ofrenda - mezcal, poblano chile liqueur, peach, lemon & agave - smoky, herbaceous, and beautifully balanced.
🥛 Leche de Pistachio - mezcal + dairy-free pistachio milk - creamy, nutty, and totally unique.
🍌 Cambures al Estilo Foster - mezcal, banana liqueur, espresso & vanilla - dessert cocktail energy with a twist.
🍓 Baya Nueva - reposado tequila, pomegranate liqueur, mixed berry, lemon, chili & bitters.
🌸 Aloe y Fresa Refresco - mezcal gin, aloe, jasmine, lemon, strawberry, honey & cardamom - floral, refreshing, and bubbly.

Three spaces. Three totally different atmospheres. Endless amazing cocktails. BARCOA is one of those Phoenix spots you visit once and immediately want to come back to explore more.

A food truck that’s quickly become one of my favorites for bold, comforting Mediterranean flavors done right. If you spot this truck, don’t think…just order.

Here’s what makes Momo’s a must:
🍗 Chicken Shawarma Plate - loaded with juicy, well-seasoned chicken, fluffy fresh rice, seasoned veggies, and creamy homemade hummus. Simple, satisfying, and packed with flavor.
🍟 Loaded Gyro Fries - absolutely insane in the best way…crispy fries piled high with gyro meat, sauces, and all the good stuff.
🌯 Crispy Chicken Shawarma Wrap - the viral one 👀. At least 3 feet tall, stuffed with chicken shawarma, fresh veggies, fries, pickles, and finished with that sweet-tangy pomegranate molasses. Pro tip: ask nicely 😉

You have to try Wineot!

A hidden gem and family-owned wine spot where owners Terry and Janet have created a personal, thoughtfully curated wine collection for the community to enjoy. This is the kind of place where you slow down, sip something special, and discover bottles you won’t find anywhere else in town.

I went with one of their wine flights, but they also pour plenty by the glass and yes, you can grab a bottle to enjoy right there too.

Red Wine Flight
🍒 Roshambo Pinot Noir (Sonoma County, CA) - soft and elegant with candied cherry, strawberry, floral notes, raspberry coulis, and a cocoa-kissed finish.
🍇 Peirano Zinfandel (Lodi, CA) - bold and expressive with spiced black plum, blackberry pie, black cherry, licorice, and black pepper.
🪐 Zero Gravity Cabernet Sauvignon (Lodi, CA) - full-bodied and velvety with blackberry strudel, acai, vanilla, dark cacao, and warm spice.

Small Plates & Bites
🍓 Strawberry Goat Cheese Bruschetta - fresh strawberries, goat cheese, thyme, and balsamic.
🥕 Roasted Veggie Bruschetta - roasted vegetables with mozzarella, parmesan, basil, and balsamic.
🍎 Apple & Fig Bruschetta - brie, apple slices, and fig spread.
🥩 Salami Bruschetta - salami, pesto, and fresh mozzarella.
🍗 Artichoke Chicken Bruschetta - roasted chicken, feta, artichoke, cherry tomatoes, and pesto crème.
🧀 Charcuterie Board - meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, jams, and crackers.
🧇 Waffle BLT - bacon, arugula, tomato, avocado, and spicy mayo tucked between toasted Belgian waffles.
🍕 White Pizza with Prosciutto - Pinsa crust, ricotta base, mozzarella, parmesan, prosciutto, hot honey, basil, and red pepper flakes.

Cozy, welcoming, and curated with care, Wineot feels like discovering a secret you’ll want to keep (but probably won’t).

A brand new bbq spot in Tempe that’s already making ways for their bold Texas-style BBQ. Low and slow smoked meats meet unexpected pairings that somehow feel perfectly natural.

Here’s what I tried:
🥩 Brisket - smoked Texas-style, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor
🍖 Beef Ribs - massive, rich, and fall-apart good
🍗 Tandoori Turkey - smoky with warm spices that set it apart
🍖 Lamb Racks - beautifully cooked and full of depth
🔥 Beef Cheeks - rich, melt-in-your-mouth goodness
🌶️ Texas Twinkies - stuffed, smoky, and dangerously addictive

And then the twists that make Wild BBQ… wild:
🫓 Wild Naan - fresh naan bread that somehow makes perfect sense with BBQ
🍚 Brisket Rice Bowl - chopped brisket, flavorful rice, tahini, and nuts for a Mediterranean-meets-Texas moment
🌿 Chimichurri - yes, at a BBQ spot… and it might be my favorite combo here
Don’t skip the sauces - all house-made, bold, and designed to complement (not cover) the smoke.
🍌 Banana Pudding - classic, creamy, and comforting
🍯 Baklava - flaky, sweet, and the perfect unexpected BBQ dessert

This is BBQ that respects tradition but isn’t afraid to break the rules and that’s what makes it special.

The brand new holiday pop-up at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale, and yes it’s as festive and mischievous as it sounds.

This 21+ holiday hideaway is open to everyone, no hotel stay required, and it’s serving naughty cocktails, cozy bites, and serious holiday chaos Thursday - Saturday 5pm-10pm.

🥥 The Nutcracker - coconut rum, lime, egg nogg, pistachio & walnut
🌿 Under the Mistletoe - gin, rosemary, lime & cranberry
💚 The Tipsy Grinch - vodka, crème de menthe, crème de cacao & vanilla

A vibrant, flavor-packed spot serving some delicious tacos in the Valley. Handmade tortillas, bold salsas, and that smoky, fresh-off-the-plancha flavor make this place an instant standout.

Here’s what I tried:
🌮 Tacos
• Al Pastor – perfectly seasoned with that sweet-savory balance
• Nopal (Cactus) – tender, earthy, and so underrated
• Birria – rich, juicy, and loaded with flavor
• Arrachera (Skirt Steak) – one of my favorites
• Chicken – classic and super flavorful
• Cabeza – incredibly tender

🔥 Vampiro - a crispy tortilla topped with melted cheese and your choice of meat… absolute perfection.
🥔 Papa Loco - a creamy baked potato mixed with Monterey Jack, your choice of meat, and served with handmade tortillas - comfort food in its best form.

Drinks to pair with it all:
🍷 Midnight Jamaica - infused jamaica tequila with citrusy notes
🍹 Guava Refresher (NA) - bright, fruity, and refreshing

One of the most festive, over-the-top holiday pop-ups in Phoenix and easily the place to be this season. Think twinkling lights, retro Christmas vibes, cozy booths, and holiday cocktails that taste exactly like December should.

This bar goes all-in for the holidays, and the drinks are seriously next level 👇

❄️ Let It Snow - peppermint, white chocolate, and all the winter wonderland energy in a glass.
🍒 Naughty AF - a boozy cherry-spiced Old Fashioned twist that definitely lives up to the name.
🌿 Twig & Berries (on draft) - gin, elderflower, cranberry, apple, and rosemary… bright, botanical, and perfectly festive.
