We talk so much about red flags these days that we sometimes forget people are human. Flawed, growing, and healing, just like us.

Not every disagreement means someone is toxic. Not every mistake means you should walk away. Sometimes what you’re seeing is not a red flag. It’s a real person learning how to love, communicate, and show up better.

Yes, protect your peace. But also be honest with yourself. Are you looking for perfection or partnership?

He takes longer to open up? Maybe he’s learning how to feel safe emotionally.
She gets defensive sometimes? Maybe she’s been misunderstood too often.
They communicate differently? Maybe that’s your opportunity to grow in patience and empathy.

Be careful who you take advice from. Some people will project their pain onto your relationship and call it wisdom. Listen, but filter. Everyone’s story is not your story.

Maturity is knowing the difference between a red flag and a rough edge. One means danger. The other means growth.

A few days ago, my mum called me.

The moment she heard my voice, she laughed and said,
“So you are just waking up?”

Then she added, “We here, we’ve gone to work and come back o.”

She paused and said something that stuck with me:
“I always forget that our time is not your time.”

After the call, the Holy Spirit brought those words back to my heart ,
Our time is not your time.

For her, it was the middle of the day. She’d gone to work and returned home.
But for me, the sun was just rising.

Imagine if I tried to go to work at midnight just because it was morning for her?
Even though she’s my mum, our realities are not the same anymore.
Her time is not my time.

You can’t call me lazy because she’s working while I’m asleep —
It’s simply not my day yet.

Listen, who told you that because you and your friend are the same age,
you’re supposed to be in the same season?

That’s how we get trapped by the idea of being “early” or “late.”
You don’t know God’s design for my life.

Just because you married at 23 doesn’t mean someone marrying at 29 is late.
Your time is not my time.

Our destinies are unique. Nowhere in Scripture does it say two people have the exact same path.

So if you go ahead, I’ll celebrate you and clap for your dawn.
My own dawn will come, and when it does, I’ll rise too.

Dear child of God, walk at God’s pace for your life.
Trust that your Maker is guiding your steps — and it will happen when it’s time.

Remember, He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Your time is not my time.
When it’s your time, your day will break. 🌅

To my sisters walking with God ,don’t apologize for your standards.
You’re not “too much.” You’re just not meant to be handled by everyone.
Keep shining, keep believing, keep standing.
God is raising a generation of women who love deeply, live purely, and walk boldly.
You’re one of them. 💕

This version of me has seen what life looks like without God and I don’t ever want to go back.
It’s not perfection; it’s direction.
Every day I choose peace, purpose, and purity. Not because I have it all together, but because I know who holds me together.

Tell me, what are you DEEPLY grateful for today?
Please, don’t give me the generic one-liners.😌
In two or more sentences, tell me like you mean it, what you are truly grateful for. Let’s go.

Sometimes God gives you a word a promise, a dream, a quiet assurance and after a while, it feels like maybe you heard wrong. The wait gets long, doors close, and nothing seems to add up.

But listen… If God said it, He will do it. He doesn’t change His mind or forget what He promised. Delays aren’t denials they’re just God’s way of preparing both the blessing and you.

So don’t lose heart. Keep praying. Keep showing up. Keep trusting. What He said over your life still stands. 🌿

Say it with me: “Lord, I still believe. You haven’t forgotten me.”

There’s something humbling about waiting on God. You plan, you pray, you prepare, but the doors don’t open when you expect. And it’s easy to wonder if He’s forgotten you.

But here’s what I’ve learned: God’s timing is not slow; it’s sovereign. He sees the full picture. What looks like a delay might actually be protection or preparation.

Don’t let impatience push you into something premature. The waiting season is not wasted, it’s where faith matures.

If you’re in that space right now, this is your reminder: God is still working behind the scenes.

💭 What has waiting taught you about faith and patience?
