This past Saturday, both Electric City Blitz Girls 6th Grade and 9th Grade teams took the court for their final games of the season. The Blitz traveled to Spooky Nook in Manheim, PA, both securing W’s against some impressive competition‼️

We couldn’t be prouder of our girls for a season defined by hard work, dedication, and a commitment to getting better every single week. Through every challenge, they continued to learn, grow, and support one another.

Congratulations on an outstanding season, girls! 👏

On Saturday, May 16, the Electric City Blitz 6th & 9th Grade Girls travelled to Corning, NY for 3 games a piece.

Both teams had a hard week of practice and it paid off!

The 9th grade squad went 1-2 overall, trading wins with one team, but just coming up short to make the championship game. The girls fought tooth and nail each play, heading back to the 570 with their heads held high. 👏

The 6th grade team started off hot with back to back wins to start the day 2-0! They headed into the championship game with confidence, and walked away with the gold after a 40-24 WIN🥇‼️

VERY SUCCESSFUL DAY FOR BOTH ELECTRIC CITY BLITZ TEAMS‼️

On Sunday, April 26th Electric City Blitz - 6th & 9th Grade Girls travelled to Desales University where each team had a three-game day.
Our players BATTLED every game, each team playing older competition.

Electric City Blitz (Girls 9th) Split Season Opener

ECB Girls 9th opened their season Sunday, with a 1-1 finish in two competitive games.

In Game 1, the Blitz started slow but found their rhythm after halftime tightening up on both ends of the floor, pulling away for a 28-12 win.

GAME 1-
Scanlon: 11 pts (3 3-pointers)
Ricciardi: 6 pts (2-2 FT)
Bachman: 4 pts, 3 reb, 3 stls/blks
Turner-Boyd: 5 reb, 4 stls/blks
Collins & Jenkins: 5 asts combined
Brdaic & DiPierro: 6 reb combined

Game 2 was a tougher challenge against a bigger, more physical opponent. Trailing early, the Blitz battled back behind key plays and a strong all-around offensive performance from Scanlon. Down one in the final seconds, they forced a stop and got a clean last look, but Collins’ half-court buzzer-beater rolled in then out, sealing a 30-31 loss.

Scanlon: 23 pts (4 3-pointers, 3-4 FT)
Bachman, Brdaic, & Collins: 8 pts combined
Gafner & Jenkins: 10 reb combined

Today, Electric City Blitz (Girls 6th) kicked off their single-day play season with a hot start. The Blitz went 2-0 in Johnson City, NY in their 2026 debut! Blitz controlled the pace for both games, dominating on the floor and executing their plays. Congrats to ECB Girls 6th on a 2-0 start to the spring travel season!!! ⚡️🏀

Electric City Blitz is looking to burst into the local sports media scene with highlights from an instant classic.

Valley View edged out Mid Valley in a thrilling Championship game at the 2025 Peter Turonis / NBT Bank Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, December 30. The game was a battle from start to finish, with both teams delivering strong performances on both ends of the floor and keeping it close until the final seconds.

Hats off to both squads for an outstanding showing in a game that truly lived up to the moment.
