A great break from the humidity, which made the NEPA area MUCH more comfortable today. Here at Keen Lake (Waymart, Wayne County) the weather today was quite possibly the nicest day this Summer for our area. Add in these "cirriusly" awesome clouds, and I will dare you to tell me that it's not! Now excuse my while I catch bass 🤘

Multiple Western PA Tornado Warnings issued!!!!

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Central Erie County in northwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 514 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Girard, or 11 miles southwest of Erie, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Erie around 520 PM EDT.
Waterford around 530 PM EDT.
Northwest Harborcreek around 535 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Wesleyville, Northwest Harborcr, Avonia, Lawrence Park, McKean, and
Harborcreek.

Good Morning NEPA!!!

All these days off "Oregon Sunshine" are about to end in a big way. Major pattern shift for the east as the ridge of high pressure that has dominated the weather patterns over the US for the past several weeks moves east bringing very warm air and sunny skies to the east.

Today will be about 5 degrees warmer than yesterday, but then we can expect 10-20 and. Eventually 25 degrees warmer by mid/late week as the warmth digs in. This will give us warmer than average temps for Pennsylvania. The average temps this time of year is around 70-75 for and of May/early June.

Today (Sunday) a mostly cloudy day with peeks of sun. Highs in the middle 60s with 10-20 mph winds.

Tonight, lows back down into the mid to upper 40s.

Tuesday 80°-85°
Wednesday 85°-90°
Thursday 86°-91°
