As im sitting here listening the rain hit our tin roof, thinking about Calliopes birthday next week. A day im welcoming but also dreading.
I was scrolling facebook and saw another post from a fellow loss mom. Her loss is fresh, and her post was filled with grief and so much love. She shared the love of her daughter, her memory, and she shared the simple fact that Jesus was with her through it all. I needed this reminder tonight.
Even in deep sorrow, He is with us. He is in the love, the hurt, the mourning, and rejoicing.
Because of God I am and was able to love Calli, I was able to sit with her through it all, loving her through it. And although I am still heart broken, I am utterly in awe of our Fathers love for us. His faithfulness.
She is whole, and healed, and in the presence of the One who loves her most. And that my friends, is worth rejoicing in!
Thank you Lord, tell her i love her. 💕
