🌼Collection Share!

You guysssss… it FINALLY HAPPENED! I have added a HORSE to my collection!

I have been searching for an (affordable) groovy horse for years! I have found donkeys aplenty, but they’re not the same as a horse (of course)!

This EPIC horse is by Pride Creations 1960s and excellent condition! It’s also a box! The top is chalkware, the bottom is paper mache. I’m OBSESSED!

I am still ISO a giraffe and a zebra. This collection is Leah’s Ark… I must have at least one of every animal. 😂

🌼Please join me for an epic VINTAGE O**Y STATIC SALE! Help me celebrate 10k with a WEEKEND of my favorite colors: ORANGE GREEN and YELLOW !

HOW to PARTICIPATE:

Sat 2/3 and Sun 2/4: Post any vintage item for sale as long as it is mostly orange, green, yellow, or any combo.

Use the hashtag **y so buyers can find your items.

Swipe for a graphic you can use with plenty of space in the top right for your logo/info. DM if you want a copy sent to your messages.

You can post the graphic anytime, but please only post your sales post to the hashtags on 2/3 and 2/4.

Epic sale alert! I went through my inventory and pulled all my NEW IN BOX vintage! I had more than I thought and might be open on Tuesday too! 😮

Leah’s Mercantile will be opening up tomorrow night for a fast paced solo live sale! All these items are still in the original packaging! Don’t be fooled by the look of these boxes… there are some great items inside! You will have to wait for the surprise contents!

🎥 LIVE VINTAGE SALE: All Chalkware!

It’s happening…. my chalkware collection needs thinned out, so I’m joining Randy’s collection purge for the first ever ALL chalkware live sale! Tomorrow!

🌼No, I’m not selling my entire collection, but I have many doubles and some are going to be hard to let go!

What are these?

🌈These are all made out of chalkware, a lightweight plaster material also referred to as “composite” or sometimes paper mache.

Because of their fragile nature, they can be hard to find! Most of these are coin banks, but there are all sorts of items out there.

🌈Most were made in the late 1960’s- early 1970’s and were imported from Japan. They were sold in drug and gift stores and won as prizes for carnival games.

🌈Brands include Holiday Fair, Earl Bernard, Lego, It’s The Berries, Pride Creations, Fitz and Floyd and more.

🌈I focus my collection on just the brightly colored ones. The neon paint will glow when placed under a blacklight! Grooooovy!
