I went from 203 to 137 faster than I though was possible. And, I'll never forget the look on my doctor's face when I walked into his office for my annual checkup.

“Are you doing that “Rice Method” I told you about?”, he stuttered.

So, I told him I've been doing it for the last few months and how it's really transforming my life and health.

"Nothing has EVER worked so fast for me!", I said with a BIG smile.

Even the nurses were complimenting me on my transformation and asking me how I had done it at my age.

It was the first time in almost 2 decades, I left my the doctor’s office feeling good about myself.

Just watched the incredible Jon Batiste documentary, 'American Symphony' – a love story with a unique melody. 🎶 It beautifully captures the highs of his career and the challenges of supporting his partner, Suleika Jaouad, through her cancer journey. 💪 As someone dealing with cancer myself, I deeply connected with the film.

Witnessing Jon's empathy and compassion for Suleika, navigating life's biggest moments while prioritizing self-care, was truly inspiring. 🌟 There are valuable lessons to be learned, and the music is simply mesmerizing. 🎵

What struck me the most is seeing a Black man exemplify Emotional Intelligence at its finest – understanding his own emotions and those of others. Jon Batiste is a shining example of the beauty that unfolds when we're mindful of our presence in the world, embrace our emotions, and empathize with others. 🌍💙
