Meet the Filmmaker: Rubaiyat Hossain, Writer and Director of 'Under Construction'
“Being a woman and directing a film, everybody is going to question you...I think that struggle is everywhere."
Rubaiyat Hossain is a writer, director and one of a handful of female filmmakers from Bangladesh. Her second feature film, Under Construction, had its world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival this year.

New British Programming in June on KCTS 9 Yakima
Set in 1959, The Doctor Blake Mysteries is an Australian crime drama starring Craig McLachlan as Lucien Blake, a doctor who returns to Ballarat after 30 years to run his late father's practice. Blake also takes over an on-call role as the town's police surgeon, and works to solve a series of strange and baffling murders.
