Our Throwback Thursday feature is "Posthuman" by Risa Denenberg, a beautiful collection of eco-poetry that is a warning and a wonder. With a controlled voice and unflinching self-interrogation, Denenberg has written a book that is deeply personal, poignant, and utterly human.

Use code "tbt" to receive this book at a discounted price!

“So many q***r people in rural settings can feel incredibly isolated because, on the surface, their lives and landscapes have no q***r representation.” 🍃 Our Interview Editor Esteban Rodriguez talked with poet Jory Mickelson about their debut collection “Wilderness//Kingdom” (Floating Bridge Press)and it’s explorations of identity, art, and what it means to inhabit a landscape fertile with inspiration. #jorymickelson #floatingbridgepress #poetry #wildernesskingdom #estebanrodríguez
Celebrate National Poetry Month with this week's book recommendation: Bellingham poet Jory Mickelson's debut collection, Wilderness//Kingdom from Floating Bridge Press. As Kelli Russell Agodon put it, "How could I not fall in love with this book? We tour the geography of family and childhood, lovers and loss, parade floats and cars. With nature as our backdrop, Mickelson’s authentic and engaging voice becomes the landscape we want to live in and love." chuckanutwritersconference.com #BStrongBham
Hoping this reading still happens on Thursday and Jory Mickelson can make it down from Bellingham as I have been looking forward to hearing these poems from his first book with Floating Bridge Press. Reading info here >>> https://facebook.com/events/637310623674609/
