Have you heard about Connectome?
We are very excited to have PhD candidate Sarah Pugliese from the Brunton & Tuthill Lab.
This presentation will look into the structure and function of motor circuits in the fruit fly ventral nerve cord. She will talk about the connectome datasets she works with, motor control in flies and other animals, and how she used these network models to find a putative pattern-generating circuit for forward walking.
This opportunity can be valuable for students interested in going to graduate school, medical school, and other higher education, in addition to students interested in getting involved in research.
No prior neuroscience experience is needed to attend, everyone is welcome to join!
