Which cider tastes like summer to you?

A red-fleshed rosé is high on our list. Lightly spritzy, with bright acidity and plenty of fresh fruit character, it's made for hot days and warm nights. Some of our go-tos are from AVAL Cider , Alpenfire Cider , Haykin Family Cider , Snow Capped Cider , and Bauman's Cider .

What's in your glass this summer? Tell us below.

Traditional method cider has been quietly evolving for years, while the wine world slowly catches up. Across Vermont and Washington, makers like Eden Ciders and Finnriver are using secondary fermentation, riddling, and disgorgement to create sparkling bottles with texture, depth, and structure that rival high-end sparkling wine.

The conversation is no longer whether fine cider exists. It is whether the rest of the industry is finally ready to take it seriously.

Memorial Day weekend officially marks the start of "cooler" season. And if your ice chest is still packed with watery domestic lagers… we may have some concerns.

Stock those craft ciders you've been eyeing instead. Crisp, refreshing, easy-drinking and built for long weekends outside — for those camping, grilling, floating, or parked in a lawn chair all afternoon, kinda days.
