All 10 little sky nuggets are doing well today 💖 When I set up my brooder my heat plate apparently stopped working, so we have a heat lamp set up until Amazon can deliver the new one, but it's working 😊 I always start my chicks on non-medicated chick feed and add a few drops of Nutri-Drench to their water, which is a concentrated vitamin and mineral supplement to make sure these babies are getting everything they need. We definitely have a mix- mom was a partridge bantam cochin, so she must have had friends visiting and leaving eggs, because I see bantam cochins and Easter Egger for sure 🤣

My oncology appointment is today.
I've waited 2 1/2 months for this appointment, and I'm hopeful that, although I don't think I will have answers today, we will start on the path to figuring out what's going on and finally have a plan of action. ✨So mote it be✨

FYI, I believe this is a type of rose, it's a huge bush right beside my front porch and makes the entire yard smell heavenly 🤍💛

I literally just finished A Fate Forged In Fire by Hazel McBride in preparation to read the second book in this duology, A Queen Crowned In Flames, which released on May 26th.
I'm so glad I did! I loved this book! It was exciting and action packed, with court intrigue and religious persecution, with a sprinkling of spice. And of course, dragons bonded to their riders. 💖😍
What I loved:
✨ Strong, smart, and scrappy FMC
✨ Dragons, though there is only a few left in this world, that bind to their riders
✨ Elemental magic system
✨ Court Intrigue with religious persecution
✨ A true enemies-to-lovers-to-enemies, definitely not a mild annoyance-turned-instalove that is usually defined as this trope.

Book 2 just released, so though this one ends on a major cliffhanger, you won't need to wait to finish the story!!

I finished The Night Prince on audio last night and, though I found the first book a little slow, this book kept the pages turning 🤯
It was like a Wattpad story, in the best way.
I also thought I loved that Scottish brogue.....but Blake was yummy 😜
I can't wait to read The Wolf Queen, the next book in this series, out in November, and I highly recommend the audio!
