Back in the spring, we had the privilege of helping Myla capture her final Mom Prom—an event that’s been bringing joy to local mothers for the past 15 years. Partnering with Perinatal Support Washington, Myla has created a one-night-only tradition where moms can dress up, dance their hearts out, and indulge in as much candy as they like. It’s an evening dedicated to setting aside the struggles of motherhood and simply being yourself.
Even though I was a little out of my element (there were only two other men in the room—the DJ and photographer), I knew how meaningful this night was for so many women and felt honored to document it. The energy, the laughter, and the celebration made it an unforgettable experience.
