Alcohol is poison that we voluntarily put into our bodies and we’ve normalized it so much that we forget that. We do recover!

Now I am 4 weeks post op a LIVER TRANSPLANT & i am so grateful that I am sober & that somebody was able to donate their liver to me so I can live. It’s absolutely miraculous. This whole experience has humbled me implicitly and I will forever be grateful. Thank you to everyone who has been by me every step of the way. I love u all.

Decompensated Liver Cirrhosis, and still actively drinking… smh. Ascites, Edema, Hepatic Encephalopathy, ruptured Varices in my esophagus was an every day occurrence. I’m so glad I made the decision to get sober. If you’re struggling please reach out for help, it gets so much better. I promise you.
