Thrilled to share the latest track from blackvelveteen ! Below is her describing the journey of this track. Earlier this year, I set a goal to get a few original tracks out. I’m happy to say this is my second track of the year. I learned a lot more about Ableton and working with Push 2. What emerged was a something I’m proud to release on August 14, my mother’s birthday. I think of her when I hear this and everything she meant to me and how she encouraged me in all that I did. She’s no longer with us however her spirit is always with me. The words have special meaning and the style of music is reminiscent of the music she enjoyed. It’s funny how the creation of this track evolved. I didn’t know where it would lead and I’m so happy with the finished product.
