Dug through a pile of Mercury dimes. Sanity check me before I miss something obvious.
Spent the night going through a pile of Mercury dimes and a few Roosevelt stragglers. Silver everywhere. Fingers black. Expectations cautiously managed.
Most are clearly worn. Some have tempting center bands that look good until you zoom in and reality hits. A couple dates and mint marks caught my eye, but I’m trying not to hallucinate value where there isn’t any.

Before I toss these back into the “silver stack” pile, I want other eyes on it.
Be brutal. I’d rather learn than post a victory lap over a coin worth melt.

Took me awhile, years. Finally got the 1 oz Pig.

Long story really short. A guy I bought a few of there MS70 1 oz gold from sold (2) of his 2 oz pigs back to a big dealer that starts with an A.

He called me and said dude, they listed my coins at $20 over what they paid me for them. It’s a mistake and buy them!

There was No picture of the coin but a description. I rushed and had to get a lot of $$ together but I did it.

I assumed they would realize what happened and would cancel my order, but I got both 2 ounce pigs.

It’s all because he reached out to me and I only knew him from eBay, but we got along really good and he helped me out.

I had to delete the other post because I forgot the pic if it seems it’s duplicated. It was surprising buying these because I wanted to get at least 3 1/10ths but there was literally 1 left. They had the bars available so I got a new design (Still in its card for all you told me I’d made my gold worthless by taking it out 😂 )

Really lovely pieces I think but I’m guessing American coins aren’t except from CGT in the UK like UK ones are?

I bought this about 8-9 years ago and tossed it in my safe and forgot about it. Until I was collecting my stacks to a bigger horde and came across it having questions being not marked 17.6 grams anyone have stamper stuff not end up being gold in the long run

After grabbing this TGR gram for 145$ today i hit my goal of 5 grams! I know its not much but im happy! Next years goal is 1/2 ounce, maybe a full one but thats if i have a great year and gold doesn’t rocket up! Happy stacking everyone
