In an effort to continue the UW Custodian Photography Project , Evalynn Fae Taganna Romano and her team distributed almost 200 ingat (care) packages for UW custodians! This effort provides UW Custodians with their basic needs and it is a symbol of care and gratitude. Each ingat package included one comfortable pair of Hoka shoes, one cloth mask, one snack, one hand sanitizer, and one thank you note. The packages were distributed last Monday and Tuesday and custodians were so happy to receive them!
This effort was made possible thanks to the cross departmental partnership and support from the UW community. Evalynn is fundraising $5400 to provide 80 more ingat packages to UW custodians who have been on furlough and will be returning at the end of June and early July.
Support Evalynn in reaching her goal of serving UW custodians and expanding this effort of community care and resilience.
