Enjoyed our July 4 weekend away! Wolves and giraffes were simply amazing - I’m still struggling for the right words to describe the experience.

But now I’m glad to be back home, and ready to dive back into some yarn crafting!

Right now my Christmas order list is full! No more Christmas orders until next year, especially with cataract surgery pending, and I don’t know how that will impact crochet time.

Today has just been a damn day.

Yes, I'm missing mom and Dale. But that's the way of it now, though most days it's fairly manageable and others not so much.

29 days until I complete another full cycle around the sun, and honestly I think I'm going to stop counting which year it is. This last bit hasn't been my favorite, by any means. I feel worn out and mentally tapped right now.

I've got a lot of good things to count, though, and some more good stuff coming. So for now, I'm going to focus on that. Sorry if I miss your messages and comments, I need the mental break from the chaos of the interwebs for a bit, if ya don't mind. Catch you on the flip side of whenever.
