For anyone who has tasted a meal I've prepared or a treat I've baked today, it’s clear that I would always choose my own cooking over fast food—100% of the time! 💯 I’m still on my journey and enjoying every moment of cooking from scratch. 🤭 Last week, I made spaghetti noodles by hand to pair with my sauce, which featured a delightful mix of my neighbor's tomatoes and my own tomatoes and peppers from the garden. Oh, and let’s not forget the homemade bread! 🍞

I had my five-year post-op bariatric surgery appointment last Friday. 🫣 It seems I might need to relearn some discipline and portion control, tracking and weighing my food to establish those manageable daily habits that I know work, even if I'm not currently following them. 🙄⚖️🍳🚫🍪🍩🍦
