Here's our small, but mighty bookshelf. These books were read over and over. They are quoted in daily life and discussed and loved. These books helped raise our daughter and inspired us to build our press. We're staying home to help flatten the curve. While you can’t visit your local bookstore to browse the shelves for a great new picture book, you can still #SupportIndies by shopping for our books through @Bookshop_Org! https://bookshop.org #ReadLocal Thank you. Stay safe, be happy.

Hi, would you be interested a short cathartic story for when your pet dies. A short video and book form Lemmy Goes to Heaven' I cannot upload it but it is on my time line. Best wishes Liz Wright
Little Gray Blue By Clifton J. Dodge Way down under in the land of the Kangaroo, I rode a cutting horse name Little Gray Blue. The cattle were tuff, and lively too, Working us hard, was all they knew. Ducking and dodging, with his shoulders to the ground, The crowd stand, with a cheering sound. I turned little blue, and stopped him cold, We studied the herd, for third and goal. The last heifer came out, playful to be, I know not, what came over me. The cutting I knew we had won, so to this crowd, We would show, cutting horse fun. When the heifer did stop, with her legs spread wide, Little Gray Blue matching her every stride. As statues they stared, frozen it seemed, Eye to eye, as but a dream. As I stood in my stirrups, I reached for his head, The hush of the crowd was quiet as the dead. His bridal I took, and hung on the horn, Then the heifer did move, as devil and thorn. But this was the day, in my mind I knew, A very special day, for me and Little Gray Blue. The heifer possessed, as a machine it would seem, And Little Gray Blue, with the magic of a dream. The crowd did stand, without movement or sound, As my stirrups and my booths, were dragging the ground. So, pleased they were with Little Gray Blue, The stadium then filled with Yea, Yea Blue. I stepped off my horse, Put his bridal back on. When the judge came over and pointed out to me, The Queen requested, my presents to be. As I rode to the rail, where her majesty stood, All over myself, I felt nothing but good. Facing her direct, Blue stopped and froze, She then leaned over the rail and gave me a Rose. “We were impressed “Were her words to me, As she touched Blues head, as proud as could be. I removed my hat, and swung it down wide, As I majestically bowed, in honor and pride. With hat in hand and still bowed low, We did back away, in style and show. At the center of the arena, we did spin around, So hard and so fast, a hole in the ground. Little Gray Blue stopped so right and so sure, We were facing straight out, to the arena door. I stood in my stirrups waving my hat to the crowd, As Little Gray Blue, loped out in honor and style…. The End
