A year ago today, I was working on my second blanket. Today, I have about 30 under my belt.
Somewhere along the way, I fell completely in love with making these soft, squishy, warm blankets. What started as something I simply enjoyed doing quickly became something I dreamed about sharing with others.
When I first started thinking about selling my blankets, I knew I wanted to call them Bear Hugs. It just felt right.
But it wasn’t until I lost my Daddy that I realized my whole business concept was rooted in his love. ❤️
My Daddy was known for his bear hugs. To know him was to be loved by him. And when he passed, it was those hugs that so many people remembered.
So, in a way, every Bear Hug I make is my little way of carrying that love forward.
Today, I am finally launching my page and taking the first little step toward turning that dream into something real.
