Remote Working has been slowly becoming more prevalent over the last few years. This is predominantly due to technology evolving, making it easier to do things on the move and to communicate effectively from a distance.

Before the current pandemic was born. Charnie and I were working for another company running the inside sales team promoting, designing and onboarding Cloud-Based CRM’s and Project Management platforms. We took ownership of the customer's End to End journey, providing customer aftercare & account management to ensure a consistent, seamless service with one point of contact. We are strong believers in building and maintaining great customer relationships. We were doing this remotely via Video Conference and phone, unknowingly heading into an unavoidable situation where home-based working would become compulsory.

So what were the implications for us when the lockdown was enforced?

We realized that we were already prepared albeit unplanned. We are good at designing and implementing homeworking processes for businesses. We had already rolled out complex systems in multiple sectors for SMB’s to Large Enterprise Corporations.

Unfortunately, many businesses had no contingency plan in place for the pandemic that was about to unfold, and as a result, were scrambling around for quick untested solutions just to keep operating. For many, the outcome was poor communication and reduced productivity that would unfortunately lead to insolvency.

It was during lockdown it became obvious that providing remote solutions is the future and we have closely watched businesses evolve and adapt to the new direction we are obliged to take.

Complete Remote Solutions was born over a few beers and we realized we can offer a comprehensive range of services with the right people, software, processes and training in place, at a very competitive price due to fewer overheads.
