On May 17, 1792, beneath a Buttonwood tree on Wall Street, 24 stockbrokers signed what became known as the Buttonwood Agreement — the founding moment of the New York Stock Exchange. 🇺🇸📈
With just a simple agreement, they created a marketplace built on trust, investing, and opportunity. More than 230 years later, that same spirit continues to shape how families build wealth, businesses grow, and dreams become reality.
That history is a big inspiration behind Nolyne Publishing and the Bull & Bear children’s book series.
Through stories like Bull & Bear Race at the Big Board and the adventures of Bull, Bear, and Piggy Banks in Moneyland, we’re helping the next generation understand the power of saving, investing, entrepreneurship, bonds, stocks, and building bright financial futures.
From the Buttonwood tree to the pages of Bull & Bear, the mission remains the same:
Teach people how money works so they can create opportunity for themselves and others.
