Public assistance needed to find Missing 10 year old

On November 10, 2022, Deandrae Ester was last seen in the 7400 block of Glen Leaf, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Deandrae’s clothing description is unknown at this time, but he is believed to be wearing black Jordan sneakers. Deandrae is about 3’11”, and weighs about 40 lbs, he has short brown hair, and brown eyes.

Last night, Shreveport’s own Jordan Davis and his brother Jacob won CMA Song of the Year for “Buy Dirt.” Their collaboration with Luke Bryan was a No. 1 hit and an instant fan-favorite and there could not be a stronger anthem for faith, family, work, and the American Dream. What an encouragement to know those values are still celebrated!

Here’s the local backstory: The wise old man that gave the advice in the song was the late Allen Dickson, former president of Shreveport’s oldest company, Morris & Dickson. Jacob wrote the song based on an exact conversation that Allen Dickson had before a stroke with his son, Allen “Skipper” Dickson, Jr. Skipper later relayed the conversation to his son-in-law, Jacob, who turned it into the song that Jordan recorded… and the rest is history.

What a great story, a great message, and a well-deserved win!

was one of the most interesting stories we’ve done! The Nest in Bossier City takes donations of furniture, household goods and even holiday decorations and uses them to completely furnish homes for their clients. Clients range from people who’ve just experienced home fires to those who are coming out of homelessness and everything in between. For a small fee volunteers from The Renesting Project will even come to your house and pick up your donations for you! I can’t think of anything better! So many of us have things we could pass along and it goes to such a great place! Now it’s time for fall cleaning!! 🏠
