We will be kicking off our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration with vendors, live music, and activities for all ages to participate in free of charge! Louisiana Coalition on Criminalization & Health (LCCH) and an array of community partners will be coming together at The Supper Club (610 Commerce St., Shreveport, LA) from 1:00 - 4:00 on Sunday, March 16th for an afternoon of incredible drag performances by Ms. Gay America Louisiana 2024: Sarina Styles and ZaZa Gigante, interwoven with community conversations about the impacts of HIV Criminalization led by our emcee Dr. Lonnie McCray and honored guests Mr. Robert Smith and Dr. Robert K. Darrow.

This event is open to the public and will include tabling from other local social justice organizations, as well as free food. Tell your friends!

Check out our "Keep Shreveport Ratchet" stickers at https://speac.bigcartel.com/

"Ratchet" is an act of defiance against the social norms of a city that expects more of its residents than it can give. Ratchet is perseverance against oppressive circumstances. It's a response to the demolition of neighborhoods to build interstates, and sidewalks that end where opportunity starts. "Ratchet" is not "wretched". It's a response to wretched leadership. Keep Shreveport Ratchet.
