For a guy from Shreveport, La who has only been doing standup comedy a little over a year, Quinton “MUNCHIE” Washington’s career is taking off. ho was shocked by the fact that it was Munchie's very first time on stage! In January of 2013, Munchie was accepted into the Black Comedy Competition in Oakland, CA where he went up against veteran comedians. The Director of the competition, Tony Spires, had no idea that Munchie had only been doing stand up for 1 year, and was quite impressed by the fact that he had even been accepted in the competition alongside headliners. Munchie has been performing nonstop with shows in St. Roberts, MO, Dallas, TX and of course Shreveport, La. He was also a feature for the Joe Torry and Pierre comedy show back on July 19-20, 2013 in his hometown. With continued hard work and dedication, Munchie believes that his dreams will come true!
