In Bossier City, a solemn piece of history stands as a reminder of one of Americaā€™s darkest days. The metal beam from the World Trade Center, preserved here in our community, carries with it the weight of memory, loss and resilience.

This beam is more than steelā€”it is a symbol of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage of first responders who rushed into danger, and the unity that bound our nation in the aftermath.
