In filmmaking, the making is the point.
In 2025 we plunged our hands into the earth and got back to our roots.
Spanning nine months and three continents we started the year off partnering with NatGeo & PepsiCo on the branded docuseries, “Food for Tomorrow.” We’ve always been committed to exploring the territory of cliches for a complete view of how people truly are. And like a freshly baked challah we wove the tales of three farmers into one relatable story of hope and resilience. Directing Wisa, Wendy and Maria Vitória changed us at a time when perspective shifts are hard to come by and listening has become a lost art.
We collaborated again with the Foundation Fighting Blindness, showing up as makers to tell the story of an ambitious man coming to grips with how his blinding disease has affected his career and family. We left changed, challenged and better for it.
We journeyed back to India with production partner and friend Jody MacDonald on developing AlterEgo’s original adventure travel series launching in 2026. And uncovered fresh cliche-busting narratives of what happens when underestimated women meet with healing through empowerment. We are truly inspired by the vulnerability of the fifteen women who shared their truth, and honored beyond belief at their welcoming spirit and unwavering trust.
This year, we are grateful to have deepened our craft by rising to the occasion. There is a difference between those who wait and those who make things happen. The past five years have been brutal for our creative community. We have all suffered. The only way to survive is to forge a way forward. Leaning into what we have, trusting our experience, and being the niche/ nimble/ nonfiction storytelling powerhouse that we’ve always been. Our superpower isn’t luck. It’s how we respond when someone says: “This can’t be done.” For us, it’s always been about presenting, elevating, and allowing real people to own their narrative in a way that is healing and free.
Cheers to 2026
