Journalist jailed for terrorism

Freelance reporter Ko Maung Myo, also known as Maung Maung Myo, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday by a junta court in Karen State’s Hpa-an under the Counter-Terrorism Law. Earlier this month, female journalist Ma Nyein Nyein Aye was sentenced to three years in prison with hard labor on incitement charges by a junta tribunal inside Yangon's Insein Prison. ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ် ကျောက်တော်မြို့တွင် ဖမ်းဆီးခံခဲ့ရသူများအနက် အမျိုးသမီး ၄ ဦးကို ယမန်နေ့ညက ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးလိုက်သည်ဟု သိရသည်။

လွတ်မြောက်လာသူများမှာ ကျောက်တော်မြို့ ရှမ်းရွာရပ်ကွက်မှ ၂ ဦး၊ မြို့သစ်ရပ်ကွက်မှ ၁ ဦးနှင့် ပြည်တော်သာရပ်ကွက်မှ ၁ ဦးတို့ဖြစ်ပြီး သူတို့ကို ယမန်နေ့ ဇွန်လ ၂၁ ရက် ည ၁၁ နာရီခွဲခန့်တွင် လွှတ်ပေးလိုက်ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ဟု မြို့ခံများက ပြောသည်။

မြို့ခံတစ်ဦးက “မနေ့ညက ကားအမဲတွေနဲ့ အိမ်ကိုလာပို့ပြီး လွှတ်ပေးလိုက်တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်”ဟု ပြောသည်။

လွတ်မြောက်လာသူများအနက် ရှမ်းရွာပန်းပဲတန်းရပ်ကွက်မှ ၂ ဦးမှာ အသက် ၂ဝ ကျော်ခန့်ရှိပြီး ကျန် ၂ ဦးမှာ အသက် ၃ဝ ကျော်ခန့်ရှိသည်ဟုလည်း သိရသည်။

သူတို့ ၄ ဦးသည် နောက်ထပ် မြို့ခံ အမျိုးသား ၃ဝ ဦးခန့်နှင့်အတူ ယမန်နေ့နေ့လယ်က ကျောက်တော်မြို့အတွင်း စစ်ကောင်စီတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များက အချုပ်ကားဖြင့်တင်ဆောင်ကာ ဖမ်းဆီးသွားခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ဟု မြို့ခံများက ပြောသည်။

ဖမ်းဆီးခံရသူများတွင်ပါဝင်သွားသည့်အမျိုးသားများကိုမူ ယနေ့ ဇွန်လ ၂၂ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းအထိ ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးသည်ကို မကြားရသေးဟုလည်း မြို့ခံများက ပြောသည်။

ကျောက်တော်မြို့မရဲစခန်းတွင်တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်နေသည့် ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင် ၃ ဦးကို ဇွန်လ ၂ဝ ရက် ညနေ ၆ နာရီခန့်က ကျောက်တော်မြို့ မြို့သစ်ရပ်ကွက်ရှိ ဘောလုံးကွင်းအနီး AA က ဖမ်းဆီးသွားပြီးနောက် ယင်းနေ့ညနှင့် ယမန်နေ့တို့တွင် ကျောက်တော်မြို့ပေါ်၌ လုံခြုံရေးတင်းကျပ်ကာ ဖမ်းဆီးစစ်ဆေးခဲ့မှုများ ရှိနေခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ဟု သိရသည်။

ယင်းသို့စစ်ဆေးမှုများတင်းကျပ်ခဲ့၍ ကျောက်တော်မြို့မစျေးကိုလည်း နေ့တစ်ဝက်နှင့်ပိတ်လိုက်ရသလို စာသင်ကျောင်းများကိုလည်း နေ့တစ်ပိုင်းနှင့် ပြန်လွှတ်လိုက်ရသည်ဟု မြို့ခံများက ပြောသည်။

ယနေ့နံနက်ပိုင်းတွင် မြို့အခြေအနေမှာ တည်ငြိမ်နေသည်ဟု သိရသည်။ (NN-2)

ဓာတ်ပုံ - ဖမ်းဆီးစစ်ဆေးမှုများရှိခဲ့၍ လူသွားလူလာနည်းနေသည့် ကျောက်တော်မြို့တွင်းတစ်နေရာအား ယမန်နေ့ ဇွန်လ ၂၁ ရက် နေ့လယ်ပိုင်းက တွေ့ရစဉ်။
