Sioux Falls Little League Rides Maxen Snoozy’s Dominance Into Midwest Region Winner’s Bracket ⚾️

The Sioux Falls Little League squad continues to make waves at the 2025 Little League Baseball Midwest Region Tournament after a commanding 7–0 victory over Iowa, powered by a stellar pitching performance from Maxen “Max” Snoozy.

Maxen struck out 10 batters in just five innings, silencing Iowa’s offense and setting the tone for the game. But while his dominance on the mound made headlines, it was the complete effort from the entire Sioux Falls roster that secured the win.

From the opening pitch, Sioux Falls showed poise and determination. Their bats came alive early, capitalizing on key opportunities to put six runs on the board in the first inning. Aggressive baserunning and disciplined at-bats gave the team a cushion that allowed Maxen to attack the strike zone with confidence.

Defensively, Sioux Falls played with sharp focus, backing up their pitcher with error-free play. Every player who stepped onto the diamond contributed — whether it was turning routine outs into momentum-swinging plays or keeping the dugout energized as the innings rolled on.

Today, Sioux Falls turns its attention to a tough matchup against Webb City Little League from Missouri in the winner’s bracket. With both teams undefeated, the stakes couldn’t be higher. First pitch is set for 4:00 PM Eastern in Whitestown, Indiana.
