📅 "When’s the best time to post on social media?"
This question pops up in my DMs at least once a week—and here’s my honest answer:
👉 The “best” time to post isn’t universal.
It’s not Monday at 9 AM.
It’s not whatever time that blog post from 2020 told you.
📉 Following generic “best posting times” is a strategy myth that could be hurting your reach.
Here’s what actually works:
✅ Look at your own audience insights
✅ Test post times over a 30-day period
✅ Track reach, engagement, and saves
✅ Adjust based on YOUR OWN data
📊 On Instagram and Facebook, you can use built-in analytics to see when your followers are most active. That’s your starting point—not the finish line.
💡 Need a baseline? Try these time slots to start TESTING:
⏰ 8–9 AM
⏰ 12–1 PM
⏰ 7–9 PM
But don’t rely on “magic times” alone. The real secret is consistent, valuable content—plus smart timing.
✨ Posting at the “right” time means nothing if the content doesn’t connect. Focus on value first, timing second.
