Happy 30th anniversary to Pocket's Grille! It was the first place my sister took me on my first visit to Smithville in 2012 and the first place I took my family to when I moved here in 2022.
It takes a lot to keep a restaurant open, and to do it for 30 years is a true milestone. Really proud of Troy and the Pockets team for all they've brought to the community.

🎉 30 YEARS TODAY!
On September 16, 1996, we opened the doors to Pocket’s Grille for the very first time.
I was 22 years old with no restaurant experience—just an idea, a lot of determination and a family willing to help me turn an empty building at 301 Main Street into something special.
Thirty years later Pocket’s has become more than I ever imagined. It has been a first job, a gathering place, a place to celebrate and a part of countless family memories. Generations of customers have grown up eating here and many now bring in children and grandchildren of their own.
There have been plenty of challenges, changes and lessons along the way, but through it all, this community has continued to support us—and for that, I’m beyond thankful.
To every employee who has worn a Pocket’s shirt, every customer who has walked through our doors and everyone who has shared in our story—thank you. Pocket’s would not be here today without you.
Thirty years brought us to this moment but there is still so much ahead. We’re proud of the journey that brought Pocket’s here, grateful for the people who have been part of it and excited to keep building our future in Smithville, Texas. We hope you’ll be with us for what comes next.
