🌭 Slow Cooker Best Sausage Casserole
🛒 Ingredients
8 pork sausages
1 onion, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
400 g (14 oz) chopped tomatoes
300 ml (1¼ cups) chicken or vegetable stock
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 can (about 400 g / 14 oz) butter beans, drained
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
👩‍🍳 Method

1. Brown the sausages
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the sausages for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally. They don't need to be fully cooked yet.

2. Prepare the vegetables
Add the sliced onion, carrots, bell pepper, and garlic to the slow cooker.

3. Add the sauce
Pour in the chopped tomatoes and stock. Add Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

4. Add sausages & beans
Place the browned sausages into the slow cooker and add the drained butter beans. Gently stir to combine.

5. Slow cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

6. Serve
Taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, crusty bread, rice, or your favorite vegetables.

⭐ Tip

Browning the sausages first gives the casserole a deeper, richer flavor. For a thicker sauce, leave the lid slightly ajar during the final 20–30 minutes or stir in a small cornstarch slurry.

Hearty, savory, and perfect for a cozy family dinner! 🌭🥕🫑🍅

🍝 Slow-Cooker Spaghetti Bolognese
🛒 Ingredients
500 g (1.1 lb) ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 celery stalk, diced
1 carrot, grated
3 celery stalks, roughly chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 beef stock cubes
1 can (14 oz / 400 g) diced tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato purée
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mixed Italian herbs
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
12–16 oz spaghetti
Grated Parmesan, for serving
Fresh parsley or basil, optional
👩‍🍳 Method

1. Brown the beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned. Drain excess grease.

2. Add the vegetables
Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

3. Transfer to the slow cooker
Place the beef and vegetable mixture into the slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, tomato purée, Worcestershire sauce, beef stock cubes, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper.

Stir everything together.

4. Slow cook

About 15 minutes before serving, cook the spaghetti separately in salted boiling water according to the package directions. Drain well.

🥩🧄 Garlic Butter Ribeye with Creamy Parmesan Pasta & Roasted Potatoes

A restaurant-style comfort meal with a juicy seared ribeye, creamy garlic Parmesan pasta, and crispy roasted garlic-butter potatoes.

🛒 Ingredients
🥩 Ribeye Steak
1–2 ribeye steaks, about 1–1½ inches thick
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3–4 cloves garlic, smashed
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Pinch of red pepper flakes, optional
🍝 Creamy Parmesan Pasta
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup chicken broth or reserved pasta water
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley
🥔 Garlic Butter Potatoes
4–6 small potatoes
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp parsley
👩‍🍳 Method

1. Prepare the potatoes
Cut potatoes in half or leave small potatoes whole. Toss with melted butter, olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Place on a baking sheet and roast at 425°F (220°C) for 30–40 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and tender.

2. Season the steak
Pat the ribeye completely dry. Season generously on both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

3. Sear the ribeye
Heat a heavy skillet over high heat. Add olive oil and place in the steak.

Sear for about 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Add butter and smashed garlic during the final 1–2 minutes. Baste the steak repeatedly with the garlic butter.

For medium-rare, aim for about 130–135°F (54–57°C) after resting.

Remove from the pan and rest for 5–10 minutes.

4. Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain.

5. Make the creamy Parmesan sauce
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.

Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.

Lower the heat and stir in Parmesan until smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

6. Combine
Add the cooked pasta and toss until completely coated in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

7. Plate
Slice the rested ribeye and place it beside the creamy pasta. Add the roasted potatoes and drizzle a little of the steak's garlic butter over the top.

Finish with fresh parsley and a little Parmesan.

🔥 Pro tip: Let the ribeye rest before slicing—the juices redistribute and the steak stays much more tender and juicy.
