My wife and I tried a new crockpot recipe tonight that turned out delicious! "Creamy Potato & Hamburger Soup"...

RECIPE: brown 1lb of ground beef with minced garlic and diced onion. Drain grease and put into your crockpot. Add 5 cups chicken broth, 2 cups of frozen mixed veggies of your choice, 5 cups of peeled and chunked Russet potatoes, and season to your taste (I added garlic powder, Italian seasonings, Cajun seasonings, and salt). Cook on low about 6 hours. Whisk together 1 1/2 cups of milk and 2 1/2 Tbsp of cornstarch and stir into your soup. Add 8 oz cubed Velveeta cheese and stir occasionally til its melted in and thickened about 1 hour. So in total cooks on low 7 hrs. That's it... Simple and it's delicious! 💛

Kids love it....Crescents, pepperoni, 1/2 string cheese, roll up, sprinkle w/garlic powder, bake 12-15 min. Serve w/pizz...

When you need something super quick and easy to cook...DIY "KFC" Mashed Potato Bowls it is 😋 Cook chicken and potatoes. Layer potatoes, then corn, then chicken, then gravy, then top with cheese and bake on 350 all together until the cheese is nice and melted about 15 mins.

Grape salad. So addictive.
1 block of cream cheese soften
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 lbs green grapes
2 lbs purple grapes
1 cup chopped pecans
3 tbls brown sugar
Mix 1st 4 ingredients until smooth and creamy, fold in grapes. In a separate bowls mix pecans and brown sugar and sprinkle on top.

Sticky Jerk Chicken Bake
Ingredients
3 lbs chicken drumsticks and thighs
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
Jerk Marinade
2 tbsp jerk seasoning
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the jerk seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, lime juice, and olive oil.
3. Add the chicken and toss until thoroughly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for deeper flavor.
4. Spread the chopped onion, bell peppers, garlic, and green onions in the bottom of a large baking dish.
5. Arrange the chicken pieces over the vegetables and pour any remaining marinade on top.
6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
7. Remove the foil and continue baking for 25–30 minutes, basting once or twice with the pan juices, until the chicken is tender and deeply browned.
8. For extra caramelization, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
9. Spoon the flavorful pan sauce and vegetables over the chicken before serving. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

Crockpot Ranch Chicken and Potatoes

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
4 Russet potatoes cut into 2 inch pieces
2 cups baby carrots
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup (10 oz can)
1 cup milk

How to make Crockpot Chicken Ranch:
First, you need a small mixing bowl. Add the cream of chicken soup, milk and ranch dressing mix. Whisk all of this together.
Cream of chicken mixed with ranch in a bowl.
Then, place the chicken, carrots and potatoes in the slow cooker. Add the sauce and pour it all over the top of these ingredients in the crock pot.

Finally, cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours on high. You can also cook on high for 3 to 4 hours if you need to reduce the cooking time.
If you like the chicken to be in smaller pieces, shred it and then place back into the crock pot.

Tips:
If the sauce seems to separate once chicken is cooked, just remove the chicken and vegetables from the crock pot. Whisk the sauce together and it should solve that problem.

You can then add the chicken back to the slow cooker

Blackened Chicken Creamy Cajun Pasta

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

12 oz (340 g) fettuccine or linguine

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

2 tsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp smoked paprika

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until fully cooked and nicely charred. Remove and let rest.

3. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.

5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until well coated. Use a little reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

8. Slice the chicken and arrange it over the creamy Cajun pasta.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
