My wife and I tried a new crockpot recipe tonight that turned out delicious! "Creamy Potato & Hamburger Soup"...
RECIPE: brown 1lb of ground beef with minced garlic and diced onion. Drain grease and put into your crockpot. Add 5 cups chicken broth, 2 cups of frozen mixed veggies of your choice, 5 cups of peeled and chunked Russet potatoes, and season to your taste (I added garlic powder, Italian seasonings, Cajun seasonings, and salt). Cook on low about 6 hours. Whisk together 1 1/2 cups of milk and 2 1/2 Tbsp of cornstarch and stir into your soup. Add 8 oz cubed Velveeta cheese and stir occasionally til its melted in and thickened about 1 hour. So in total cooks on low 7 hrs. That's it... Simple and it's delicious! 💛
