onward into a new week traveled 100 miles for the kids drs apts.. changing meds now hopefully that will help.. im struggling with edema and RA can barely walk so need to get in again to see if i can get that figured out.. the ayam cemani are perfect and i cant wait to get eggs from them to share them with everyone.. im extra tired but still pushing on..

On a good day, I have a little energy to hit the lake together for a few hours, and my kiddo caught this grass carp; she was so stoked. its the little things that make it so amazing .. blessed

i waited a good part of the night to see some of the shower but nothing shot across the sky its ok i did get to see a full night sky filled with magical stars the clouds rolled in so im off to sleep god bless everyone ..

Been taking some downtime to deal with life, health, and hardships; homesteading isn't easy - ups and downs are just part of it. We have been struggling with some pretty hard blows this year and it's literally left me exhausted mentally, physically, emotionally. I've been rethinking my life choices, how to proceed. Most of our adult stock was stolen and then my health has been a problem for a while, and I just need to reflect, regroup, plan, etc. I'm still around, just working silently behind the scenes. God bless and have a wonderful summer. 🙏

this storm was a little gnarly hovering right over the homestead we where coming home and made jokes this is the only place you drive into something like that. any other state we would be turning around to get far away .. this yrs been wild for the 🌪 though we've had a few small ones in fields and such but eeks..
