We aren’t full time travelers that get to “live on the road”. Just normal people with regular jobs, and a passion for the road! We are just your average married couple who enjoys traveling, preferably by motorcycle! We love sharing our experiences on the road to help inspire others to explore what's out there! We also love to hear other stories of travel from you! So feel free to reach out with yo

ur own experiences and even suggestions for us! We hope that through our stories, shared history and photography, you will find a connection. And if you felt inspired and find yourself somewhere we have been, feel free to tag us in your posts!

A little jaunt up the road today for a few day ride around the mountains of PA! We wanted to explore a little more of what’s in your ‘backyard’, so we are taking a few days to ride around and see what we can find!

Norway, Michigan
Norway is known for its Scandinavian heritage and community-run utilities….even generates its own power through the Sturgeon Falls Hydroelectric Project.

Norway Spring
- discovered in 1903 when miners were drilling for iron. This natural artesian aquifer still supplies cold, free drinking water from a roadside stone fountain.

Fumee Falls
- an easily accessible waterfall from a roadside park with bridges and footpaths to access different viewing areas of the falls.
Located a few miles west of Norway.

I still remember the first time I ever saw the Northern Lights….
We were about midway through a roadtrip and checked in at Fletchy’s Otter Belly Lodge in Eagle Harbor, MI. There were a few guys sitting around the fire pit who asked if we wanted to sit with them and have a beer. We got settled and came out to hang out for a while. We talked for hours and before we knew it, it was after midnight. I happened to look up at the sky and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! We sat there and watched the sky for the longest time! It was amazing!
The next night was July 4th. There were all kinds of fireworks everywhere! But nothing will ever top that!

Here’s one that took us by surprise!

Big Bend National Park

From the changing landscape to the unique plant life…this park really had us wowed from the get go! 🤩
It was mountains and valleys and crazy trees that reminded me of something in a Dr Seuss book! And not a boring sight to be seen!

This park is made up of the Chihuahuan Desert, the Chisos Mountains (the only complete mountain range in a U.S. national park), and 118 miles of the Rio Grande forming the border with Mexico!

Worth the visit! And if you go, or have been there, let us what you thought of it!
