A senior Disciple of Kalaimamani Guru Mahalingam Pillai, and Guru Kalyanasundaram Pillai, Vasanthi has been performing in both solo n group performances in India n the US. Some of her performances include Those at Krishna Gana Sabha, various Sabhas in Mumbai, NCPA Mumbai and Pittsburgh temple. She has performed in lead roles in ballets like Thyagabramanjali, Skanda Leela, Vasantha Valli etc. She teaches in the Tanjore bani in Central New Jersey. She will be performing in a dance drama at Bridgewater temple on October 14th and has been called to perform at Kalaimamani Guru Mahalingam Pillai's centenary celebrations in Mumbai on November 1st 2017.
