Confession. Ive felt that affirmations seem cheesey. Also felt that self deprecation does us no good.

Wait!! I know those two thoughts contradict each other. Maybe you feel l/think similar to me. Maybe it’s that positive affirmations seem like “fluff”.
There is a great deal of truth in positive affirmations and not practicing self deprecation.

Here’s why.
Think of your brain like a computer. You give a computer (or phone for a more simpistic take) a task and it gives you an output.
If you tell your brain you are smart, worthy, can overcome difficulties then you will!

With the start of the New Year begin by not only nourishing your body, but also your brain by feeding it good things you deserve!
