Last summer Tracy and I visited some great biergartens in Germany. Here is one that is about 20 north of the Munich airport... about 45 minutes from Munich city center. It was rained out on our first visit so we had to go as soon as they opened in order to get to our flight.
Schloßalee Biergarten, Haag am der Amper. A true Bavarian biergarten in size and atmosphere. And of course the bier was outstanding! Prost!
