South Haven LGBTQ+ Advocacy is so excited to announce the formation of our Be T/rue Committee! Be T/rue is a powerful collective of trans individuals dedicated to uplifting and advocating for the trans community through lived experience, meaningful conversation, and inclusive events. Originally founded as an event group for a local q***r campground, Be T/rue is now expanding its reach into the greater South Haven area. We are honored to welcome them into our advocacy family and thrilled to begin offering more trans-specific programming in our community. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!

South Haven LGBTQ+ Advocacy extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in celebrating South Haven Pride 2025.

This year’s Pride was a powerful reminder of what grassroots community organizing can accomplish, and it would not have been possible without the support of so many dedicated individuals, businesses, and organizations.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors: Biggby Coffee of South Haven, Frida’s Cantina , Big Blue Rentals, Bronson Methodist Hospital , South Haven Black River Lions Club, rocks and studios , Marty, Goods, Grimes Law, Taste, 's, ’s, One Well Brewing, and First Congregational Church UCC South Haven. A special thank you goes out to our generous in-kind donors—the South Haven Center for the Arts, Phoenix Street On Broadway, and The River Bottom for their contributions to this year’s celebration.

We proudly thank our performers and DJ, including The Kunty Kittens, ULOVE- Abel Muñoz, Great Lakes Brass and all the incredible individuals who stepped up to the open mic and shared their voices with our community on stage.

We are also grateful to Security Solutions and Insurance for ensuring a safe and secure event, and to The City of South Haven Department of Public Works for their help in preparing Stanley Johnston Park and cleaning up afterward.

Thank you to Be T/rue at Campit Outdoor Resort Saugatuck for having us back at Campit Outdoor Resort this weekend! The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, and we’re so grateful for the warm welcome. We had the chance to connect with so many amazing people and engage in thoughtful, meaningful conversations about LGBTQ+ advocacy in our community. It was also a joy to share all the exciting events coming up with South Haven Pride — from fun celebrations to ways to get involved. We left feeling energized, supported, and more connected than ever. Until next time! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈❤️

Happy Pride, South Haven! Join us for a grassroots, family-friendly celebration on June 28th—full details can be found at South Haven Pride 2025.

This event is the result of months of hard work by a dedicated committee of four amazing volunteers who began planning back in December. Meeting every week for 2–3 hours, we’ve collectively put in over a thousand hours to bring this celebration to life. We do it to spread love, awareness, and unity throughout our community.

South Haven Pride is proudly hosted by the local nonprofit South Haven LGBTQ+ Advocacy and made possible through generous sponsors and private donations.
