If he survived, he must be sentenced to LIFE.

On the night of Saturday, July 19, 2025, a Ghana Immigration Service officer, identified as AICO II Japhet Boateng Kyei, tragically lost his life after being struck by a speeding vehicle near the Accra Arts Centre.

According to reports, the officer had parked his vehicle and crossed the road to assist a stranded driver whose car had broken down. After successfully offering help, he was hit by a Hyundai Veloster with registration number DV 9050Y-25 while attempting to cross back to his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lesson: As drivers, passengers, and pedestrians, we should be careful when using the road.
