In 2018, Richard Appiah Akoto, a teacher from Betenase M/A Junior High School in Ghana taught Microsoft Word using a hand-drawn chalkboard due to a lack of computers. His innovative approach went viral, exposing the digital divide in education only 12% of schools in sub-Saharan Africa had internet access in 2019 (UNESCO). This led to Microsoft donating computers and inviting him to the 2019 Educator Exchange in Singapore. A testament to how creativity can transform learning 👏
