Today was a full circle moment and a confirmation for me that is essential for me to share.

Something happened with my oldest, and he got to see, in real time, the importance of why we move, operate and carry ourselves the way we do. He saw how mutual respect is built through the simple act of “seeing” people and putting our boots on the ground right alongside them.

He also saw firsthand why emotional intelligence matters…
for kids, teens, and adults.
Why communication matters.
Why having healthy outlets matters.
And why having a supportive, loyal, wise, and honest community around you makes all the difference.

I’m proud of my son for standing up for himself, being aware, and showing emotional intelligence and restraint (where needed), while also knowing he has a safe space with me to get wise counsel, feel heard, be seen, and know his experience is always valid. I’ll always challenge him to see things from a higher perspective while still honoring his own.

And I’m proud of myself, too….for staying grounded, advocating for him, and showing him that we’ve always got his back… without overstepping him.

Full circle. Growth. Confirmation.
Grateful for the lesson and the moment.

Jayden, I’m proud of you son. I know you and your siblings are still learning, but damn I’m proud of my legacy I’m building. Amir Cochran, babe we are also still learning as well, but doing pretty damn good❤️💪🏾🙌🏾

Ladies, just because you are a mom, wife or caregiver……don’t ever let that stop you from pouring back into you, living and having fun. I’m a mom 24-7, but I decided this Halloween, I wanted to dress up and join the fun with something I felt confident, classy and sexy in and I did exactly that. It felt damn good. They can call me Mrs. “Officer” Limitless tonight. I’m happy, kids happy, and hubby got to have a baddie on his arm tonight so it’s a win in my book. on Happy Fall, ya’ll!😎💋

This lady said “You have to have the belief of a crackhead!”😳 Say what now. She said you have to be so persistent and believe that it will catch. And you know what, it made so much sense. Baby, a crackhead will make a way in a day. When I say that crushed any excuse I could have ever thought up in two lifetimes, damn. I’m sitting here absolutely flabbergasted. Baby, my flabbers are fu*king gasted. It was one of those moments when one of your cousins who is high (😂🤷🏽‍♀️) than a damn kite start saying off the wall sh*t, but then when you stop and think about it, you be like damn…..that kinda do make sense. I need to sit with this because I’m…….speechless. Whew!😳🧐🫢😧
